Cecille Eure

Cecille Eure, age 92 of Pearl, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. A Celebration of Cecille’s Life will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 13, 2023, at Hillsboro Methodist Church Cemetery with Dr. Bobby McGuffie officiating. She was born in Sebastopol, Mississippi on October 31, 1930 to the late Audus Reagan and Audie Mae Scarbrough. She was a member of McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church. Cecille was a caretaker for all her family and all those around her. She was the most selfless and generous person you could ever meet. Cecille is survived by her children, Brad (Tammy) Eure and Janae (Richard) Sims; grandchildren, Josh (Carrie) Eure, Casey Eure, Maggie Woodard, Abby (Adam) Whittington, and Breanne Babbitt; great-grandchildren, Sims Woodard, Justin, Jordan, Jason, Madlyn, and Julianne Whittington, and Amelia Gray Yates, as well as a host of nephews and nieces.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Erskine Eure. The family would like to thank Kare-In-Home Hospice for their compassion and kindness while caring for our Mother and “Granny”.
