Carol Hatten

Carol Hatten, age 83 of Brandon, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be Monday, April 18, 2022, at 2:00pm from Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Brandon with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation will start at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Brandon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Will Hatten, Logan Hatten, Wayne Culipher, Daniel Culipher, Josh Parker, and Zach Parker.

Carol was born in Brandon, MS on June 15, 1938, to the late Homer Allen Becknell and Emma Juanita Kennedy Becknell.

Carol is survived by her children, Ed (Karen) Hatten, Jr. of Gulfport, MS and Jolie (Ken) Parker of Brandon, MS; seven grandchildren, Mallory Rava, Will Hatten, Logan Hatten, Wayne Culipher, Daniel Culipher, Josh Parker, and Zach Parker; eight great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Edward Hatten, Sr.
