Calvin Arthur Hart, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the age of 88. 

Born on October 19, 1936, in Castleberry, Alabama, Calvin was the son of Arthur Hart and Myrtice Parks Hart. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1958 and went on to work as an electronics technician for the Federal Aviation Administration, completing a combined 40 years and 6 months of service.

On April 9, 1966, Calvin married Pamela Susan Curtis. Together, they shared 59 years of love, devotion, and family life, raising two children. He was a member of the Central Mississippi Amateur Radio Club and enjoyed Southern Miss sports, riding motorcycles, and watching his children grow up.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Myrtice Hart, and his beloved daughter, Laura Michelle Hart.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pamela Hart; daughter, Carla Hampton; son, Brian Hart; grandsons, Jakob Hampton and Jude Hampton; sisters, Jeanette Benton (Gene), Evelyn Anderson, Lois Johnston, and Iris Bell; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery (6100 Three Notch Rd., Mobile, AL 36619). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Mr. Hart’s honor.
