Burnon Danny Jenkins

Mr. Danny Jenkins, age 67, a resident of Walnut Grove passed away at Lackey Hospital in Forest on March 2, 2022.  His visitation was held 4:30pm-8pm Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  The family will have a memorial service later.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Jenkins was born on July 17, 1954 in Neshoba County.  He was an employee of Unipress in Forest for many years.  Danny enjoyed being outside deer hunting, fishing and just riding the back roads enjoying the scenery of nature.  He had many cats and loved all of them.   Danny enjoyed getting together with his family and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

His is preceded in death by his parents, Burnon Jenkins & Nellie Faye Lucroy Tyer; wife, Rita Faye Purvis.

He is survived by his children, Chris Jenkins (Sheryle) of Forest, Paul Jenkins (Kristie) of Pelahatchie and Kevin Jenkins of Pelahatchie; siblings, Wanda Reeves, Linda Perkins, Robin Phillips, Renay Dickerson and Shelia Tyer; 7 grandchildren, Brittany Dennis (Shawn), Hailey Kilts (Brian), Joshua Jenkins, Jacob Jenkins, Katie Jenkins, William Watkins and Skylar Watkins; 2 great grandchildren, Jaxon Dennis and Grayson Dennis.
