Bruce Coleman

Bruce Letcher Coleman, age 85, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Friday,
October 7, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be
held 11:00 am Monday, October 10, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in
Brandon with interment at 1:30 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in
Mendenhall, MS. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 am Monday just prior to
the services.
Mr. Coleman was born August 16, 1937, in Simpson County, MS to Alonzo
Coleman and Effie Edna Sullivan Coleman. He was married to Joan Ellen Arthur
Coleman. Mr. Coleman owned and operated Appliance Parts Company. He was a
member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. He enjoyed spending time with
his family and friends and will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his parents; Alonzo Coleman, and Effie
Edna Sullivan Coleman; brother, William Coleman; and his sisters, Fannie Lou
Welch and Agnes Powell.
Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joan Ellen Arthur Coleman; sons,
Greg Coleman (Connie), and Gary Coleman; sister, Grace Bowen; grandson, Jason
Coleman (Kathryn); great grandchildren, Matthew and Rebecca Coleman; many
nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
