Brent Alan Walters was born on May 9, 1969, and passed away on March 12, 2026, at his home in Denver, Colorado. He was a kind and warm person, remembered for his smile that could light up any room and his laugh that was contagious. Brent always made sure to stay connected with his friends throughout his life.
Brent grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, where he attended First Presbyterian Day School. He graduated from Woodland Hills Baptist Academy and later from the University of Mississippi. While at the university, he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and earned a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
Brent had a successful career in medical sales, working with a variety of medical devices. Outside of his professional life, he loved cooking, traveling, and enjoying fine dining. Spending time with friends and loved ones was very important to him.
Some of Brent’s favorite childhood memories include swimming for the Briarwood Dolphins and life guarding and coaching at the Country Club of Jackson. These experiences helped him form lifelong friends and cherished memories.
Brent was preceded in death by his mother, Sherron Sayre, and his step father, Richard Sayre. He is survived by his partner of thirteen years, Ken Tally; their beloved pup, Jack; his father, Conrad Walters; his brother, Heath Walters (Marlana); his niece, Maris Walters; and his nephew, Heath Walters Jr.
Services for Brent will be held on April 6, 2026, at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, located at 5400 Old Canton Rd, Jackson, MS 39211. The visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by Celebration of Life service at 12:00 noon.
Brent will be fondly remembered by those who knew him for his joyful spirit and genuine care for others. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed.
