Brenda Amason McCall, 54, passed away on Sun. Sept, 27, 2026 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Oct. 1, 2026 from 4pm-7pm at First Baptist Church Brandon, MS located at 175 Boyce Thompson Dr. Brandon, MS 39042 and on Fri. Oct. 2, 2026 from 10am-11am at First Baptist Church Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am Fri. Oct. 2, 2026 at First Baptist Church Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Brenda was born in Puerto Rico on April 7, 1972 to the late Johnnie Udean Amason and Minnie Ware Amason.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Finch McCall; three children, Sarah Margaret “Maggie” McCall, Jacob Lockhart McCall and Hudson Finch McCall; sister, Sheila Burch; two brothers, Greg Amason (Valerie) and Johnny Amason (Angie); 7 nieces & nephews, Andrew, Luke, Adam, Brandy, Wesley, Brittany, Lindsey and 6 great-nieces & nephews, Tristan, Haylee, Brooke, Alex, Zoe and Jaxon. Brenda is also preceded in death a sister, Robin Amason and a niece, Christina Marie.
