Bonnie Lewis, 84, of Pineville, MS passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at her home.  She was born August 4, 1937.  Visitation will be 5-8pm on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest, MS.  Services are 10am Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest, MS.  Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Smith County, MS.

Bonnie was very active in local organizations and groups including Homewood Baptist Church, Smith County Homemaker’s Club and a Widow’s Coffee Group that met monthly at the Pineville Store. She enjoyed volunteer work and was involved wherever she was needed. She had many gifts and talents and shared them joyfully.  She and her late husband, Bob, enjoyed camping, church mission trips and making music with their dulcimer group.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Lewis.  Survivors include 3 children: Susan Jones (Daniel), Shelton Lewis (Rachel) and Myra Boyles (Marcus), 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and her honorary sister, Mary Ann Gerlach.

Having lived in this area most of her life, she leaves many friends and loved ones.  She will be greatly missed by all of us.
