Chapel service: 11 Saturday, from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.

Burial: Morton Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Billy “Red” Morris Sessions, age 84, a resident of Florence passed away at Brandon Nursing and Rehab on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.  His visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Friday, February 25, 2022 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 9am-10:45am Saturday at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday, February 26, 2022 in the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Morton Memorial Gardens.  Bro. David McDonald and Bro. Adam Elkins will be officiating the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Sessions was born in Scott County on September 7, 1937.  He was a truck driver for B.C. Rogers Poultry for many years.  Red loved to fish, hunt, work in his garden and mow the grass.  His most favorite thing to do was play with the grands and great grands and spend time with his family.   He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Alexander Sessions and Lori Belle Miles Sessions; daughter, Cathy Adcox; son, Kerry Hawkins; siblings, Lamar Sessions, Odell Sessions and Nellie Lyles; son-in-law, Henry C. Holmes.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Jean Sessions of Florence; children, Brenda Holmes of Morton and Danny Hawkins and wife, Mary of Morton; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Green, Alexander McRaney, Tyler McRaney, Bryson McRaney, Shawn Wallen and Chris Yarbrough.  Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Hawkins and Danny Hawkins.
