Billy Don Fortenberry, 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at his home.  Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, March 17, 2023, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Gardens.

Billy was born in Tylertown, MS to Tillie Fortenberry and Lela Sauls Fortenerry on June 29, 1947. He went to Tylertown high school, attended Southwest Junior College and graduated from University of Southern MS with his B.S. in Industrial Engineering.

Billy was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Club (Fellow Designation). He was in his 55th year as a Master Mason, 32nd degree, Scottish Rite, Knight Templar, FYork Rite.

Survivors include his wife, Judy P. Fortenberry; children, Audrey Jackson Gary (Charles), Paula Fortenberry Morris (William), Karen Jackson Logan (Sam), Brian Jackson (Emily), and Jody Fortenberry (Haley); sister, Bonnie Fortenberry Grubbs; 14 grandchildren, Reed Bishop, Logan Gary, Tripp Morris, Tucker Morris, Truitt Morris, Mary Carter Logan, Betsy Logan, Charlie Logan, Kate Jackson, Morgan Jackson, Stella Jackson, Russell Jackson, Preston Fortenberry,  and Price Fortenberry.
