Billy H Colyer

Billy Colyer, age 80, went to his heavenly home on May 17, 2024 in Forest MS. He was a very humble man, faith filled husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be missed dearly. Preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Griffin Colyer; parents, Frank and Mary Colyer; siblings, Donald “Donny” Colyer, David Colyer, and Mary Bell. Billy is survived by his daughter, Sandra Champion, her husband, Tom; grandchildren, Chelsi Dennis, Caleb Champion; great grandchildren, Gracelyn, McKenzie and Jayonna Carter; one brother, James Colyer, his wife, Ruby. He is also survived by a host of extended family. 

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday, May 19, 2024 and Monday from 12:00pm to 1:45 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton; Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Monday in the Chapel. Bro. David Bryant and Bro. Joey Griffin will officiate the Services. Interment will be at Morton Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are, Scott Phillips, Perry Champion, Jeremy Carter, Jerron Griffin, Matthew Griffin and Andrew Griffin. 

The family would like to thank MS Care Center of Morton and Lackey Memorial Hospital for the passionate care he received.
