Billie Tullos

Billie Dean Roberson Tullos passed away peacefully on March 4, 2023, at her residence in Brandon, surrounded by her loved ones. Services will be March 11 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Visitation will be at 10 am, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 pm.

Billie was born February 7, 1932, to William “Bill” and Estella Roberson. She was the fourth of four children in the family and was the last surviving sibling. Most of her early years she raised and resided in Flowood, Mississippi.

Billie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her love for entertaining, needlepointing, and reading novels were just a few things she enjoyed in her past time. She always loved being surrounded by her family and friends.

She was a graduate of Pearl High School. Her professional experience started with her career at Kennington’s Department Store in the retail industry. She worked her way up to Senior Buyer of Housewares and Gifts at McRae’s Department Store traveling the US, European and Asian Markets for McRae’s for over 30 years. Winning several awards and becoming well known and highly respected throughout the industry.

She is survived by daughters Debbie Tullos of Prairieville, LA and Dena Tullos McNeal (Curry) of Brandon, MS. Her son Danny Tullos (Debbie) of Perdido Key, FL. Grandchildren Missy Tullos Morales (Scott) of Cypress, TX, Crystal Tullos Hebert (Kiel) of Gluckstadt, MS, and Matthew McNeal (Melissa) of Brandon, MS. Her Great Grandchildren Hannah Morales Daroowala (Shane), Jake Morales, Kate Morales and Vivi Hebert. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Hugh Tullos, her brother Harold Roberson of Garden Grove, CA, Nell Wallace of Bogalusa, LA and Jeannie Powers of Pearl, MS.
