Bettye Sheree Rand, 48, passed away Mon. Jan. 23, 2017 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Wed. Jan. 25, 2017 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and on Thurs. Jan. 26, 2017 from 1pm-1:45pm at Pinelake Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Thurs. Jan. 26, 2017 at Pinelake Church with burial to follow in the Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery in Brandon, MS.
Sheree was born in Jackson, MS and has been a longtime resident of Brandon, MS. She was an active member of Pinelake Church in Brandon, MS. Sheree enjoyed running and biking, but most of all she loved watching her children play sports, especially her daughter Madison playing soccer.
Sheree is survived by her husband, Fred Rand; mother, Bettye Smith (James); father, James Boyd (Barbara); three children, Madison Faulkner, Josh Rand and Drew Rand; sister, Suzanne Bowman (John); brother, Jamie Boyd; niece, Emma Bowman and her nephews, Sean Bowman, Don Boyd and Todd Boyd. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mattie Boyd.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at P.O. Box 650309 Dallas, TX 75265.
