Betty Jo Grissom Longo

Betty Jo Grissom Longo, 78, passed away peacefully at home on Sun. Aug. 18, 2024, in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. Aug. 20, 2024, from 1:30pm-3pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 3pm on Tues. Aug. 20, 2024, at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Lakeland Place Memorial Park Cemetery in Brandon, MS.

 Mrs. Longo was born in Itawamba County, MS on May 13, 1946, to the late James Oral Grissom and Alice Lorraine Hall Grissom. She worked for Delphi/Packard Electric for 30 years. Mrs. Longo enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling and spending time with her family.

 She is survived by her daughter, Angela Moudy (Steve); grandson, John Steven Moudy; 3 stepsons, Tom Longo (Cinde), Billy Longo (Jan) and David Longo (Karen); brother, Dwight Grissom; nephew, Jason Grissom (Alisha); 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great nephews and a special friend and caregiver, Angie Randall. Mrs. Longo is also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Longo and a sister, Patricia Grissom.
