Ben Robinson

Ben Robinson, age 67, a resident of the Clifton community died Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10am Friday, March 3, 2023, from the chapel of the OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest with interment to follow in the Macedonia New Testament Cemetery with Bro. Aubrey Everett, Bro. Randy Miller and Bro. Danny Dickerson officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the funeral home,

Ben was born to his parents Leo Robinson and Ida Maude Tucker Robinson in Scott County on May 7, 1955.  He was an electrician and retired from RVAF – Forest operation in 2022.  He was a Baptist.  Ben loved his work, but most of all he loved his family.  He enjoyed being with his grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Mavis Thrash, and Helen Alexander, and a brother; Joe Robinson.

Survivors include his wife, Lexie Carter Robinson, 3 children; Benjamin Joseph Robinson (Misty), Matthew Leo Robinson (Allison), and Lindsey Maude Warren (Brian), siblings, Retha Chappel, Sue Fortenberry, David Robinson (Doris), Jack Robinson (Jan), and Jimmy Robinson (Kathy), and he leaves a legacy of 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
