Barbara Dean Rawls, 59, passed away Sun. April 5, 2015 at her home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Mon. April 6, 2015 from 6pm-8pm and Tues. April 7, 2015 from 10am-11am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am Tues. April 7, 2015 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mrs. Rawls was born in Shelby, MS and has been a longtime resident of Rankin County, MS. She was an extremely creative and artistic person who loved decorating. Most of all Mrs. Rawls was a Godly woman who was very devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Rawls; two daughters, Sherie Abney and Sarah Miller (Seth); brother, Ronnie Carpenter; two grandchildren, Chandler and Paris Abney; four step-grandchildren, Seth, Austin, Tristan and Grace Miller and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rawls is preceded in death by her daughter, Bethany Rawls; two sisters, Brenda Dean Carpenter and Patricia Pace (Chip).
