Baby Cora Jane West went home to be with God on May 9, 2023.  She passed away at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.  There was a private graveside service held 3:30 pm Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Baby Cora Jane was born on May 9, 2023 at University Medical Center in Jackson.  She was just a moment in our arms…but a lifetime in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by maternal great grandparents, Emmett Owens, Jr., Robert Kay and Charlsie Bowie; paternal great grandparents, David and Patti Bailey and Terry Moudy; and several extended cousins.

She is survived by her loving parents, Trey and Brealand West of Pelahatchie; grandparents, Ted and Teressa Moudy of Morton, John and Cary West of Laurel, Alicia Bowie of Florence and Brent and Pam Bowie of Sterlington, LA ; great grandparents, Jane McCarty, Katie Moudy, Bonnye Owens, Jerry and Nadine Babb and John Ray and Debbie West ; and a host of other family members and friends.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for all of the support they have received throughout this time.

Memorials may be made in Baby Cora Janes honor to Friends of Children’s Hospital.
