Maybel Audria Denton, age 65, a resident of Carthage, formerly of Morton, died Thursday July 16, 2015 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS following a brief illness.
Graveside services will be held Monday July 20, 2015 at the Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery following a Visitation from 9am-11am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Rev. Jack Foster and Rev. Jerry Hamilton will officiate.
Mrs. Denton was born on April 27, 1950 in Hainsville, LA.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Denton of Carthage, daughters: Sandra Denton (Odie) of Pelahatchie, Rosemary Sanders (Michael) of Houma, LA and Ann Prestage (Justin) of Decatur, MS She is also survived by three sisters: Frances Wheeler of Concord, N.C. Emily Jackson and Inez Doyle both of Shreveport, LA .
Two brothers: James Giddens and William Bo Giddens, both of Shreveport, LA. She also leaves behind a legacy of 5 grandchildren.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pallbearers are James Turnage, Charlie Spears, Nathan Denton, Justin Prestage, Odie Denton and Donald Westbrook.
Funeral services provided by Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Morton.
