Allen Ray Hall

Allen Ray Hall, 83, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Brandon Court.

Mr. Hall was born August 28, 1941, in Louisville, Mississippi, to Orvell Hall and Maudine Allen Hall. During his childhood, he and his family lived in multiple places around the country due to his father’s job. He graduated from Louisville High School, and on August 29, 1960, he married his high school sweetheart, Cornelia Sullivan. Together they moved to Fannin, where they raised their two sons. In 1962, he was deployed to serve his country in the National Guard. Mr. Hall retired from Ryder Auto Corporation.

Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Cornelia Sullivan Hall; his son, William “Billy” Hall; and his parents, Orvell and Maudine Hall.

He leaves behind his son, John Hall (Angie); grandchildren, Jamie Carlisle, Christopher Hall (Candis), and Casey Pickens (John); and great grandchildren, Tanner Carlisle, Ann Marie Hall, Hannah Hall, and Gauge Pickens.

The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 11:00 am at their farm in Winston County.
