Alisa Jean Slattery, 59, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on April 30, 2026.
Alisa was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Michael Slattery (Mick); her son, Ryan Slattery; and her cherished grandson, Atlas Slattery. She is also survived by her brothers, Mike Burnett and Jim Burnett, along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.
Alisa built a successful career in insurance sales before following her passion for helping others by founding her own business, The Queen of Weight Loss in Knoxville, Tennessee. Known affectionately as “The Queen,” she touched countless lives through her work, always going above and beyond to support those in need.
She had a deep love for her family, especially her husband, Mick, whom she adored. Alisa found joy in life’s simple pleasures—taking walks, traveling, cooking, and spending time near any body of water. She was also a dedicated member of her church and found great purpose in her faith and service to others.
Alisa was known for her intelligence, strength, and vibrant spirit. She had a powerful presence, lighting up every room she entered while earning the respect of all who knew her. A gifted speaker and a true powerhouse, she lived a life of compassion, generosity, and unwavering determination.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Alisa’s life will be held on 3:30pm Friday, May 8, 2026, at The Way Church.
Alisa’s legacy of love, kindness, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
There will be a family entombment service at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. Pallbearers will be Nathan Burnett, Brandon Burnett, Henry Doherty, Ryan Slattery, Mick Slattery, and Mike Burnett. Rev. Jim Burnett and Pastor Steve Kinsley will officiate.
