Alice Broome

Mrs. Alice Geneva Davis Broome, age 85 and a resident of Morton passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at MS Care Center in Morton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tal Vardaman officiating. Interment will follow in the Morton Memorial Gardens under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

She was a Baptist by faith and an avid doll collector.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Lee Otis Broome; her parents: Tim and Nola Alice Tindol Broome; and two siblings: Louise Boone and Robert Lee Davis.

Survivors include two children: Robert James Broome of Florida and Peggy Ruth Settlemire of Morton; four sisters: Virginia Thompson and Nellie McBride, both of Morton; Gladys McDaniel of Pickens and Linda McNabb of Morton; four brothers: Tom Davis, Jr., and Ernest D. Davis, both of Morton; Linn Davis of Pelahatchie and Glenn Davis of Morton; one grandchild: Peggy Ann Settlemire
