Albert Earl Smith, 81, passed away on Mon. March 6, 2023 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held on Wed. March 8, 2023 from 5pm-7pm and on Thurs. March 9, 2023 from 10am-11am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Thurs. March 9, 2023 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30pm on Thurs. March 9, 2023 at the Sardis Cemetery in Smith County, MS.

Mr. Smith was born on June 18, 1941 in Smith County, MS to the late Cooper Carl Smith and Frances Pennington Smith. He was a member of Brandon Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Mr. Smith enjoyed working on cars and working in his yard.

He is survived by his 4 sons, Myron Earl Smith (Lisha), David Carl Smith, Larry Michael Smith (Melissa) and Stephen Paul Smith (Denna); sister, Lou Ann Ainsworth (James); 2 brothers, Cooper Lavell Smith and Billy Frank Smith; 11 grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Audrey Hammack (Myles), Ashton Smith (Lacey), Madison Barber (John), McKenzie Edwards (Chase), Justin Bradshaw, Victoria Porter (Devin), Grace Burnside (Will), Curt Smith, Danielle Smith, Jennifer Johnson (Robert) and 11 great grandchildren, Riley Hammack, Emily Hammack, Tatum Edwards, John William Burnside, Waylon Porter, Hadleigh Porter, Easton Smith, Everly Smith, Mary Elise Bradshaw, Marc Bradshaw and Molly Grace Bradshaw.
