Alan Jones

Alan Shane Jones, age 56, and a resident of Lake passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, following a brief illness.

Alan was born to his parents Jerry Jones and Betty Bryant Jones on November 6, 1964, in Dallas, TX.  He was a Supply Supervisor for Peco Foods.  Many knew him as Shane.  He enjoyed visiting family and friends, and he loved the outdoors.  He was a member of Steele Baptist Church. Shane will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Jones.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Jones, sister, Stacy Crosby and her husband  Terry,  a niece Jerilynn Parrish(Elliot) of Decatur, 2 nephews, Caleb Crosby (Laura) and Bryant Crosby (Dani) all of Lake; 3 great nieces and a nephew, Indigo, Sophia, and Jack.
