Adelia Hampton

Adelia Ondean Childres Hampton, 96, passed away on Mon. June 12, 2023 at Hillcrest Nursing Center in Magee, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. June 13, 2023 from 10am-12pm at Puckett Baptist Church in Puckett, MS. Graveside Services are 12:15pm at Puckett Cemetery. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Hampton was born on March 5, 1927 in Smith County, MS to the late Robert and Jewell Warren.

She is survived by her children, Larry Childres (Joyce), Diane Williamson (Julius), Linda Rankin (Alan), Terry Harrison (David), Paul Childres and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Hampton is also preceded in death by her two husbands, Tommy Childres and Hamp Hampton; son, Timothy Childres and two daughters, Sherry Brown and Geraldine Calhoun (John).
