It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Adam Roberts Lea, who left us on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. He was 39 years old. A family visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 12:30pm-2pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Friday, December 27, 2024 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.
Adam was born on November 4, 1985, to his father, Tim Lea and his mother, Jane Roberts Lea in Flowood, MS. He grew up in Brandon, MS where he graduated from Brandon High School. He then attended Mississippi College, where he received his Bachelors in Business Administration. Adam worked throughout his adult life at various financial institutions and retail establishments, despite having many health issues.
He was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, and friend.
In his spare time he was an avid outdoorsman. He deer hunted, turkey hunted, duck hunted, and dove hunted. Adam loved traditional fishing and hand-grabbing catfish. His favorite hunting spot was on family land, at the Homochitto River in Caseyvile, MS.
Adam was baptized at a young age and was a member of First Baptist Church of Brandon while growing up. His foundation was in Jesus Christ, and it was evident in the many times that he rededicated his life to him. Throughout his battles with inner struggles and multiple health issues, Adam always returned to his Christian faith. He was involved in church missions and volunteering whenever he could.
Adam never backed down or gave up on life. He loved and fought until he took his last breath. Adam is finally healed. He is truly happy and experiencing no pain.
His family will cherish the memories of Adam forever. We will miss his quiet laughter, compassion, and big heart. We are comforted in knowing that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior.
Adam was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Coleman and Laverne Lea of Brookhaven, and his maternal grandparents: Ken and Gerri Roberts of Brookhaven. Adam is survived by his father, Tim Lea and his mother, Jane Roberts Lea, sisters: Tiffany Lea McCain (Matt) and Katie Lea Myers (Jeremy), nephews: Max Malpass and Kase Myers, and nieces: Tinsley and Tatum McCain, and his adoring dachshund: Rudy.
“Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.” ~Lamentations 3:32
