Stacy Wolf

March 28, 1972 — July 7, 2021

Brandon, MS

Stacy Lynn Wolf, age 49, a resident of Brandon MS, born March 28, 1972 and joined her heavenly father on July 7, 2021. Stacy was an incredible Wife and a devoted Mother, whose capacity for kindness towards others was without limit. Raised by the incredible Mary “Bootsie” Brown, of Pineville, LA, she truly understood that “God, Family, Country, and a little bit of sports” would make for a well-lived life. Stacy graduated from Tioga High School, where her beloved father Owen Brown taught her and reinforced those same values and a joyful curiosity of the world around her. She continued her education at Louisiana Tech University, forever gaining friendships and a loyalty to the Bulldogs. She graduated with honors, earning both her Bachelor and her Master’s Degrees, a little known fact she would not mention herself. She moved to Mississippi, where she soon realized that she would build her own family, when she met (as a result of some serious match making by her soon to be sister-in-law Stella) and married Michael Wolf. Making him a most blessed man. Stacy was so proud of her daughter Mary Rose whose singing brought her to joyful tears, and Owen whose humility matched her own, completing this family rooted in faith and so much laughter.    Stacy would find her truest calling as a religious instructor at St. Jude Catholic Church, where she worked tirelessly with her “church family” to build the most wonderful program in the “Catechesis of the Good Shepard”, seeing hundreds of young children find joy in the teachings of Christ. An active volunteer in Brandon Schools, she was reliable and available to not only support her children but also to make sure others’ children knew they were loved. At Brandon, she would often tease about how lucky she was that she still got to root for her ‘Bulldogs’. And root she did, as a superfan of the Saints, LA TECH, and all sports at Brandon.    Her love of sports was also active, as she gained wonderful friends playing tennis. Which is not surprising because she grew genuine friendships in every part of her life. Stacy’s days began with prayer-filled yoga and ended with bed side scripture. Every night she heard the words “I love you”.

She is proceeded in death by her mother Mary “Bootsie” Brown, and survived by her husband Michael, daughter Mary Rose, son Owen, brother Paul, father Owen Brown and his wife Miriam, and an extended family of everyone who loved her.
