Riley Tripp

William “Riley” Tripp, age 80 of Pelahatchie went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Cross Roads Baptist Church at 3:00pm. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until service time. A Graveside service will follow at 5:00pm at Brownsville Cemetery, 13720 Hwy. 22 Bolton, MS 39041.

Riley was born in Lena, MS on August 7, 1940, to the late Robert Louie Tripp and Susie Thomas Tripp.

He was a faithful member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. A church greeter and now a “greeter in heaven”. He loved sports, camping with friends, and anything related to his grandchildren or great-grandchildren. He never met a stranger. But most of all he shared Jesus with everyone he met.

Riley is survived by his wife of 28 years, Bonnie Bray Tripp; children, Jill Tripp Lovell (Todd), Jennifer Tripp May (Paxton), Chip Bray ( Sharon), Kim Bray, and Kristi Cofer (Corey); grandchildren, Michael Lovell (Olivia), Shelby Lovell, Tanner May, Jordyn Riley May, Daniel Bray (Amanda), Nathan Bray (Kristen), Hannah Whitney, Brayden Whitney, Ian Whitney, Gavin Whitney, Lillie Cofer, and Corbin Cofer; five great-grandchildren; sister, Lanell Tripp White; and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Ruth Saucier Tripp.
