Patricia "Pat" Rhodes

Patricia Kelly “Pat” Rhodes, 68, passed away from her battle of cancer, on October 8, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family and friends. Pat will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who put her family first. She was a member of Gulde United Methodist Church, where she served as the church treasurer and she was the secretary/treasurer for the Gulde Cemetery Committee for many years. Pat will be remembered fondly for her cooking, homemaking talents, financial abilities and organizational skills. She enjoyed gardening, animals, and her grandchildren.

Pat was born in Jackson, MS on February 19, 1951, and attended Pearl High School. She worked in various financial institutions and was self employed at Rhodes Farm until her retirement.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Tommy Rhodes; son, Scott Bounds (Denise) of Ruston, LA; daughter, Robbie Rhodes of Pelahatchie, MS; grandchildren, Carly Bounds, Preston Allen, and Courtney Bounds, and great-granddaughter, Melody Sims; sister, Jeanette Lawson; brother, Kenneth “Buddy” Kelly and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ida Mae Kelly and brother, Mike Kelly.

Funeral services for Pat will be held at 2 pm Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment following in Gulde Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11am-2pm at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made in Pat’s memory to the American Cancer Society or to Gulde Methodist Church.
