Ola Mae Holden, 93, joined her Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 11, 2021.  There will be a graveside service at 1pm Monday, November 15, 2021, at Ramah Baptist Cemetery in Franklin County, MS.

Ms Holden was born in McCall Creek, MS to Charlie Smith and Mary Chisholm Smith on October 1, 1928.  She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, and she sang in the choir with the Sweet Spirit Singers.  She retired from Kellwood Manufacturing after 35 years of service.

Her favorite past time was spending time with her family, children and especially her grandchildren, and she always enjoyed attending her children’s sport activities.  She was also the caretaker for her daughter, Patricia.

Survivors include her children, Charles Glen Holden (Libby), Patricia Holden, James Holden (Claudette), Guy David Holden (Amanda); 7 grandchildren, Meredith Strahan Waggoner, Chip Holden, Ellen DiGiosia, Racheal Mechelle Rice, Lauren Jo Smith, Christina Leigh Holden, and Kari Lynne Riddell; and 9 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Gwendolyn Davis; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
