Lula Rhea Stewart Smithhart, 86, born May 19, 1934, in Ludlow, MS passed from this life to her Heavenly Father on April 14, 2021.  She was a longtime resident of Rankin County residing in Pearl, MS.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.

She was a U. S. Air Force wife for 23 years taking her to various military bases throughout the country as well as abroad.  She was a patriot in her support of the U. S. Armed Forces.  She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Smithhart, and son Danny Ray Smithhart.  She is survived by one sister, Jean Clack; sons, Michael Smithhart, Ron Smithhart, and Mark Smithhart (Hope) of Pearl, MS; daughters, Donna Chandler (Mikey)-Wood (Mike) and Judy (David) Jerkins of Brandon; twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She took pleasure in antiques, vintage pieces, flowers, gardening, sunny days, gospel music, animals, and birds, humbled by what God created.  She welcomed the fellowship with friends and family and holiday gatherings.
