Karen Morris

Karen Marie O’Brien Morris, age 62, a resident of Richland, MS passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Morris was born March 7, 1958 to James Joseph O’Brien and Myra Gale Malcolmson O’Brien in Canton, MA. She was married to Dan Morris. Mrs. Morris was a Medical Transcriptionist and served many medical offices during her career. She proudly served our country in the United States Navy. She loved her family and being with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dan Morris; her sons, Mathew (Nikole) Morris and Jason Morris; sisters, Kathy (Phil) Beattie, Annie (Ed) Jones and Rena O’Brien; brothers, Kevin (Shawnee) O’Brien, David O’Brien and Jay O’Brien (Ron Howard); her grandchildren, Cadance Morris, Alyssa McReynolds, Kadence Pond, Landon Pond and Briella Morris; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
