John N. Munn, age 88, and a resident of Pelahatchie, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at his home.

Graveside services for John N. Munn will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, August 10, 2020 from Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Rankin County with Rev. John Vaughn and Rev. Bill Poole officiating. Interment will follow the graveside service under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Military funeral honors will be provided by the United States Navy Funeral Honor Guard.

Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 am – 10:00 am at the funeral home.

Mr. Munn was a native of Rankin County, a poultry farmer, and retired after serving his country twenty years in the United States Navy. He was a Christian by faith holding membership with Line Prairie Presbyterian Church and attending Cross Roads Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his wives: Bobbie Dean Lewis Munn and Inez Thornton Munn; his parents: Robert E. and Jettie E. Franklin Munn, and all of his siblings except one sister.

Survivors include three children: Carol D. (Charles) Welch, Vivian Munn and Robbin Munn, all of Pelahatchie; three grandchildren: four great-grandchildren: one sister: Mrs. Opel Everett of Pearl; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
