Jean Max

Jean Kersh Max, age 97, a resident of Summerville, SC and formerly of Brandon, MS passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. She had resided in Summerville since 2004 with her daughters Kathy Reaves and Peggy Turpin. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters. She had been a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church for most of her life when she lived in the area. She was a proud member of the Susannah Smith Elliott Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Summerville, SC along with her daughter Peggy Turpin. She will be buried by her parents and her brother and many other relatives and friends at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Johns Cemetery on Hwy. 18. Dr. Ricky Gray officiated the services.
