Morton, MS

James Lee “Bull” O’Cain, age 50,  a resident of Morton passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 surrounded by his family at his home in Morton.  Visitation will be held 5pm-9pm Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 11am-12pm Wednesday at Kalem United Methodist Church.  Funeral services will be held 2pm Wednesday at the church with burial in Kalem United Methodist Cemetery.  Bro. J.T. O’Cain and Rev. Kirkland Weeks will  officiate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Bull was born November 24, 1968 in Hinds County.  He loved the Lord and enjoyed witnessing to everyone he came in contact with.  He was very involved in every aspect of the church and was also Administration Board Chair Person.  James Lee enjoyed coaching young men about the sports he loved, football, baseball and softball.   Bull will be missed but he will forever live on in the lives of the young men he has touched.  James Lee’s family was everything to him and he loved spoiling his grandchildren .  He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Travis O’Cain and Mary Lodina Evans O’Cain; brother, Sammy Lovett Sr.; sister, Beverly Iris Wooten;  brother in law, Mike Weeks, father in law, Jerry Crain; mother in law, Pat Crain.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle O’Cain of Morton; children, Mary Chavez (Hilario Jr.) of Morton, J.T. O’Cain (Anna Claire Housley)of Morton, Jamie O’Cain of Morton, Angie Boyd of Morton; brother, Marion Travis O’Cain (JoAnn) of Lena; nephew, Sammy Lovett Jr. (Brandy) of Morton; sister in law, Jean Lovett; father in law, Tony Weeks; brother in law, Tommy Wooten; 5 grandchildren, Titus & Gabriela Chavez, Colesyn & Miley Boyd and Emmalee Bell; a host of nieces, nephews & friends.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Lovett Jr., Bubba Gregory, Cameron Weeks, Cory Weeks, Hilario Chavez Jr., Miles Porter, Jonathan Taylor and Travis O’Cain.

Memorials may be made in his honor to Kalem United Methodist Church.
