He was born to Spincer & Sandra Harrell on November 15, 1967 in Albuquerque, NM. James was a man with a brilliant and creative mind, always having a project that he was working on, or 3 or 4. Whether it was working on vehicles, raising dogs, teaching others to ski and wakeboard before wakeboarding was cool, or riding his sky ski. He definitely loved the water. During his school years his brilliant mind was at work. Always drawing beautiful art and modifying something mechanically like bicycles and such. He said that he had to see if he could make them go faster, and sure enough he did. James was an absolute social butterfly. His larger than life personality made him the life of the party where he never met a stranger. He was a loyal friend to those who knew him and would give the shirt of of his back if it meant he was helping someone in need. If you were feeling low, he knew exactly how to put a smile on your face and lift your spirits. He was a one of a kind.

In 2002, the Lord blessed James with a beautiful baby girl, Jacie Brooke. Little did he know how much his world would change. She was the apple of his eye, always bragging on her. And absolutely loved his Daddy/Daughter time they shared. So very proud of all of her accomplishments she attained as she was growing up. And extremely proud of the young woman she has become.

In 2011, James married his love, Lynne. They were inseparable, two peas in a pod. They were married on November 22, 2011. From this union , James not only gained a wife but also two step-sons, Brandon and Kody that he loved like they were his own.

He was a husband, son, brother father, uncle, step-father, and a great-uncle and loyal friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert Cleveland Harrell & Juanita Harrell and James Washington Allen & Lela Allen.

He is survived by his wife Lynne Harrell, his daughter Jacie Brooke Harrell, his step-sons Brandon Caine Toney & Kody Leland Tyler Byrd, his father and mother Olen Spincer Harrell & Sandra Ann Harrell, sister Tracy Harrell-Mooney, niece Mallory Uzzle, nephews James Uzzle, Dylan Mooney and Eli Mooney, great-niece Leigh Anna and great-nephew Brandon.
