Frances Loraine Lantrip

Frances Loraine Lantrip, 84, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at MS Care Center in Morton. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend her visitation and services on Thursday. Visitation is 10:30-12:30 pm Thursday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton and services are 1 pm Thursday at Pelahatchie United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Line Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Lantrip was a native and lifelong resident of Pelahatchie, member of Pelahatchie United Methodist Church and a graduate of Pelahatchie High School.  She had a love for everyone she met and thought of everyone as her children. She never met a stranger and was greatly loved by her family and friends.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Lantrip of Morton, Glenn Lantrip (Pam) of Pearl and Barry Lantrip (Donna) of Las Vegas; sister, Sissy Bearden of Pelahatchie; 5 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Russell (Red) Lantrip in 1976; her parents, Earnest Ray and Frances Johnson; sister, Louise Durr of Jackson; brothers, Charles Johnson of Morton and Billy Johnson of Pelahatchie.
