Doreen Mccardle

Doreen (Dee) Beasley McCardle, 75, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Hospice Ministries, Inc. in Ridgeland, MS.

Ms. McCardle was born in Pensacola, FL, and has lived in Rankin County, MS for many years. She was a member at Grace Baptist Church, but also enjoyed worshipping God with multiple congregations, including Park Place Baptist Church. She is a retired social worker and minister who served God for many years. Not only was she a home missionary where she successfully helped plant new churches, but she also founded Solid Ground, Inc. in Roseville, MI, which addressed the problems of homelessness in Macomb County for families with children, the elderly or disabled individuals in coordination with other agencies, faith-based organizations, and individuals.

Dee was previously married to Darrell McCardle and has three children: Heather McDonald (John), Holly Hardy (Lee), and Elliot McCardle (Beverly). She was blessed with six grandchildren including: Ian and Jack McDonald, Michael and Kaylee Hardy, and Kaitlyn and Ethan McCardle. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Roy and Gertrude Beasley. Her siblings include: Jim Beasley (Mary Lou), Jerry Beasley (Glenda), and Randy Beasley (Kae).
