Mrs. Dora Elizabeth Parkman Stewart, age 68, a resident of Florence passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her residence.  Visitation will be held 4pm-8pm Friday, February 2/26/2021 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Morton.  Services will be held Saturday 12 noon, February 27, 2021 under the portico behind Ott & Lee Funeral Home Morton. Graveside will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.  Bro. Rocky Weeks will officiate the services.  Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stewart was born in Smith County on August 13, 1952.  She loved being outdoors riding four wheelers, working with her flowers and riding her scooter trying to run over people and having a good laugh about it.  Dora enjoyed boat riding and also riding on the wagon train.  The family stated, "before she passed away they got to take her camping which she dearly enjoyed, riding four wheelers and had a road trip to Nema, Arkansas."  She loved her family very much and she will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Benjamin Parkman and Laura Elizabeth Jones Parkman; daughter, Martha Elizabeth Hynes; brother, Floyd Benjamin Parkman, Jr.and sister, Mary Q. Parkman Winstead.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Roy Leonard Stewart, Sr.; 5 children, Roy Leonard Stewart, Jr. (Nicci) of Florence, Cassandra Hynes Walsh (Sean) of Poplarville, Cassandra "Sissy" Stewart Smith of Richland, Melinda Hynes Young (Dale) of Florence and Franklin Hilbon Hynes, Jr. (Sharon) of Byram; sister, Shirley Ann Parkman Hudson of Braxton; brother, Douglas Arthur Parkman of Polkville; best friend, Joann Shoemaker; 15 grandchildren, Matthew D., Marcus A. Ian G., and Brayden E. Stewart; Alexaunder Jordan Winstead (Christina), Stephen B. Giesler, Rachael Forstall (Jonathan) Addison E. Warrell, Christine & William Smith, Brittney & Logan Covington, Nick Young, Justin Hynes (Courtney) and Hart Hynes; 4 great grandchildren, Avery Forstall, Shane & Lucy Hynes and 1 will arrive in June 2021, Alexandra Forstall; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pall bearers, Alex Winstead, Sean Walsh, Logan Covington, Stephen Giesler, Willie Harrell, Dale Young, Matthew Stewart and backup pallbearers will be Ian, Brayden and Marcus Stewart.

Masks are asked to be worn and please social distance.
