Cynthia Everett Ponder, 91, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS.  Family visitation and services will be Wednesday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.  Graveside services will be at 12:30pm in Braxton Cemetery.

Mrs. Ponder was born in Braxton, MS on November 30, 1928, to Ernest and Bessie Bell Everett.  She was a member of Braxton Baptist Church and was a Beautician for 50 years.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Mann (Ray) of Braxton and Sonja Ponder of Brandon; grandchildren, Chris Mann, Desiree Cockrell, Chad Sills, Richelle Lamb and Brandon Ponder; great grandchildren, Devin Cockrell, Tyler Mann, Haleigh Cutrer, C.J. Sills, Bella Sills, Crystal Lamb and Lexie Lamb; and a great-great grandchild, Kadge Cockrell.  Mrs. Ponder was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Ponder.

State mandated guidelines for social distancing is recommended at all services including the graveside service.
