Cheryl Robertson

Cheryl “Cheri” Lynn Robertson was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left the world suddenly on July 7, 2021 at the age of 67 at her home in Brandon, MS.

She was born to Carroll and Edna Davis on July 24,1954. As the daughter of a Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force, she lived in many places growing up. She settled in Jackson, MS with her two children Jonathan and Jessica.

Cheri attended Jackson State University, obtaining a bachelors and masters in education with an emphasis in special education. She had over 35 years in education at the time of her retirement in 2017. She was beloved by numerous students, parents, and coworkers.

Cheri was also a Girl Scout leader for over 10 years. She lead her daughter, Jessica’s, troop 575. She left a big mark in the lives of several of her girls, many of whom she claimed as her own and she still had contact with regularly over the years.

Cheri was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Edna Davis, and brother Craig Davis. She is survived by her two children, Jonathan and Jessica Robertson, her grandson Nathaniel Pearson, her brother Brian  Davis his wife Phyllis, and her sister Angela Brackman and her children Kristina, Amanda, Michael and Brianna,  along with numerous former students and Girl Scouts.

Her arrangements are at Ott and Lee in Brandon, Ms. July 11, 2021. Visitation is 2-4 with services following after.
