C. Moore

C. David Moore “King David”, 75, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment in Andrew Chapel Cemetery in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Wednesday, December 4, 2019 and Thursday 12-2 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Moore was a native of Nashville, TN. He was the son of the late Percy T. Moore and Allie Mae Kelly Moore. He was married to Betty J. Beard Moore. Mr. Moore owned and operated Morco Service. He and Betty were leaders of the Town and Country 4-H Club from 1970-1990. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Percy T. Moore and Allie Mae Kelly Moore; his sister, Joyce Ledbetter; his son, Bobby Phillips.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty J. Beard Moore; son, Alan Moore (Shea); daughter, Kristie Anthony (Ron); daughter-in-law, Lisa Phillips; grandchildren, Nicholas Phillips, Cory Zukatis, Percy Moore, Brantley Moore, Matthew Zukatis and Davey Anthony; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
