Brenda Gale Cook, age 71, of Florence, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 2:00pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with Rev. Lane Varner officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery in Cato, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and again on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00pm until 1:45pm.

Brenda was born on November 8, 1948 in Jackson, MS to the late Silas J. Tucker and Myrtis M. Tucker. She worked as an Office Administrator in the Hotel Industry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Barry Cook; nephew, Jesse Tucker; and niece, April Branning.

Brenda is survived by her children, Christy Baughman (Darryl) and Paul Lott (Charliene-Stronglott); siblings, Kathy Owens (Charles), S. Steven Tucker (Laurel), and Ken Tucker (Lelia); grandchildren, Hunter Baughman (Emily Spencer), Kaylee Lott, and Tate White; special niece, Meghan Kennedy and special great-niece, Addie Kennedy; other relatives and friends.
