William Earl Webb

William Earl Webb, 92, of Forest, Mississippi, passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 13, 2026.

William (Billy) Webb was born on September 23, 1933. A resident of Forest, Mississippi since 1963, Billy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lou Ann Thompson Webb.

Billy is survived by his two daughters, Karen Webb Blossom and her husband Bill, and Leslie Webb Grove and her husband Jim. He was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren and the great-grandfather of thirteen great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy.

A respected pharmacist, Billy owned and operated Webb City Drug for many years. Through his work, he served his community with care, integrity, and compassion, building lasting relationships with generations of families.

Known affectionately to friends and family as “Spider,” Billy was loved for his steady presence, quiet humor, and the warmth he shared so generously with those around him.

Billy was an avid woodworker who found great satisfaction in crafting beautiful and lasting pieces, most of which he gifted to family and friends. His skill, patience, and attention to detail reflected the thoughtful and dependable man that he was to those who knew and loved him.

Billy was a faithful elder of Forest Presbyterian Church, where he served with dedication and humility. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he lived it out through service, kindness, and quiet strength.

For the past six years, Billy made his home at Beehive Homes of Forest. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Beehive for the compassionate care and kindness they showed him during his time there.

Billy will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his steadfast love for his family, his generous spirit, and the example he set for all who knew him.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Forest Presbyterian Church from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., with funeral services to immediately follow at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Forest Presbyterian Church. Graveside services will not be held. The family will remain at the church to visit with friends.     The final resting place will be in the Eastern Cemetery.
