Wesley was born on June 13, 1957, in Tokyo, Japan, to Rhoden “Tiny” Hallman and Hazal Smith Hallman. Wesley’s hobbies included working on old cars and hotrods and collecting knives, guns, and old coins. He also took pride in maintaining his Gibson tractor, purchased by his grandfather in 1947 for $40 and two hogs, and driving it in the Dixie National and St. Patrick’s Day parades.
