Wanda Elizabeth Vaughn (Ivey) passed away on May 24, 2026, in Jackson, Ms, following medical complications.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She shared 59 years of marriage with her husband, Leonard Vaughn. The couple resided in Pearl, Mississippi for the past 50 years. They raised 2 daughters.

She was a caring and dedicated mother to her daughters, Kimberly Dawn Vaughn of DeBerry, Texas, and Brandy Vaughn Bush of Pearl, Mississippi, who will miss her deeply. Wanda also held a special place in the life of her niece, Tammy Eakin of Brandon, whom she thought of as another daughter.

Wanda was a loving grandmother (Nana) to grandson, Kaleb Bush, along with granddaughter, Kaytlynn Marie and her husband, Steve Roland. She also has one great-granddaughter, Selah Belle Roland.

Wanda is survived by brothers, Marvin Dale Ivey (Pam), David Albert Ivey (Tammy), and Shelby Glen Ivey (Twanna) , along with sister Barbara Sue Smitson.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Marvin David Ivey and Minnie Marie Ivey(Ellard). Also preceded by her sister Helen Marie Stewart and brother-in-laws Gary A. Stewart and Mark E. Smitson and sister-in-law Faye Ivey.

She was a great and selfless woman. She will be missed, and remain in the hearts and minds of all that were blessed to know and love her, always.
