Trenton Lloyd Smith, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on June 25, 2026, in Flowood, Mississippi, at the age of 53. Born on August 15, 1972, in Jackson, Mississippi, Trenton’s life was characterized by steadfast devotion to his family and a humorous spirit that touched everyone who knew him.

Trent enjoyed spending time at deer camp, hunting and savoring the outdoors. He could often be found cooking on the grill or smoking a Boston butt, and he was notorious for playing frequent pranks on his friends and family. He loved animals, especially dogs.

Trent's legacy is perhaps most vividly reflected in his role as a father to his cherished children, Kannon Smith and Kylee Smith, and grandfather to Raelynn Smith. His love for them was boundless, serving as a source of inspiration and strength. Trenton found immeasurable joy in watching them grow and in celebrating their achievements.

His father, Lester Smith, preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Kannon and Kylee Smith; granddaughter, Raelynn Smith; mother, Janis Smith; sister, Toscha Miles; and nephews, Case Miles (Chelsea) and their children Tanner and Anna-Marie, Zach Miles, and Gabe Miles. He was a source of encouragement, humor, and wisdom to them all.

Trenton’s life and memory will be honored through services at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow immediately at 2:00 PM. After the service, Trent will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
