Travis Wayne Webb, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, in Gulfport, Mississippi, at the age of 79. Travis was born on December 13, 1946, in Neshoba County, Mississippi, to Edmond Perry Webb and Irma Lou Bethany Webb.

Throughout his long and fulfilling life, Travis was known for his devotion to his family and his steadfast integrity. He dedicated 34 years of service as an electrician at Ingalls Ship Yard. His commitment to his craft and his colleagues never wavered, and he was respected by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

In his personal life, Travis cherished time spent at home. He was known as a homebody, finding comfort in familiar surroundings and the simple pleasures of life. Friends and family fondly recall his passion for watching westerns on television—he could always be found enjoying tales of heroism and adventure in the Old West. Travis also possessed a talent for cooking, delighting those he loved with his meals and warm hospitality.

His cell phone was a constant companion, a testament to his enjoyment of staying connected with those he held dear. Family was the heart of Travis's world, and his affection for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was deep and enduring. When his health allowed, he took joy in attending services at Turning Point Church in Gautier, Mississippi, where fellowship and faith brought him comfort and community.

Travis is survived by his loving daughters, Charlotte Harbin ( Thomas) and Angie Faye Finkea ( Thomas). He also leaves behind his devoted sister, Peggy Runnels, and cherished aunt, Pat Jolly. The web of Travis’s life was woven tight by these bonds, and his memory will live on through all those who loved him.

He is reunited in passing with his beloved wife, Annie Joyce James Webb, as well as his parents, Edmond Perry Webb and Irma Lou Bethany Webb. Their memories, together with Travis’s own legacy, will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Ott & Lee Funeral Homes – Forest, 295 E 1st St, Forest, MS. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the same location, with burial afterwards at Fellowship Cemetery, 299 Smith County Road 14, Taylorsville, MS, beginning at 3:15 p.m.

Travis Wayne Webb will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to share in the warmth of his love, the strength of his character, and the comfort of his presence. His legacy endures in the stories, memories, and lives he touched.
