Thelma Ruth Culliver, age 91, went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2026, in Byram, MS following a series of life altering health events.

Thelma was born on January 4, 1935, to John and Mary Lou Clark in Wayne County, MS. She was one of 6 children and the oldest daughter.

Thelma is remembered for strength along with her loving, caring spirit. She never met a stranger and really enjoyed talking and getting to know people. She worked at Eaton Corporation in Jackson for over 40 years starting as a secretary and progressing to senior technical buyer.

Thelma loved the Lord and was a member of Park Place Baptist Church.

She was happily married to JC Culliver for 70 years. He preceded her in death in 2024. She also is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers. Thelma is survived by her 4 children — Rita Lewis (Don), Janet Miller (JD), Judy Miron (Phil), and Keith Culliver(Suzanne); 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and 3 sisters.
