Terry C Guy

Terry C Guy, born on October 5, 1956, in Scott County MS, departed this life on July 28, 2025, in Jackson, MS. Terry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

He enjoyed a rich tapestry of hobbies that reflected his zest for life. Terry embraced nature and found joy in hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to bond with family and friends in the great outdoors. He was also known for his warm personality, often riding around  and engaging in delightful conversations with the people he encountered. His passion for football was well-known among his peers, as was his deep love for his family, which remained at the center of his life.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine Phillips Guy. Together, they fostered a loving family. He leaves behind his children: Casey Guy and Justin Guy, as well as his daughter-in-law, Abie Bruff Guy. Terry's legacy continues through his four cherished grandchildren, Josey Clyde Guy, Lee Brewer, Jessica Boykin, and Tyler Brewer. He was also a proud great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren: Joselyn Brewer, Jase Brewer, Braxton Boykin, and Dakota Boykin. Each of these family members carries a piece of Terry's spirit and values forward.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Ina Faye Myatt Guy, and a sister, Jean Adcox, who will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved him.

A visitation with family will be held on July 31, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ott & Lee Funeral Homes in Morton, MS. This gathering will provide an opportunity for friends and family to come together, reflect on Terry's life, and share cherished memories.

Terry C Guy’s life was a testament to love, laughter, and the importance of family. His absence will be felt deeply, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
