Shirley Jean Robertson, 77, passed away at her home in Brandon, Mississippi, on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Shirley was born on September 4, 1948, in Vienna, Illinois, to Eugene Hollenbeck and Glenna Mae Gore Hollenbeck. She later moved to Elgin, Illinois, before settling in Brandon, Mississippi, in 1989. Shirley retired from Entergy after 20 years, and she enjoyed antiquing, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. She shared 32 years of marriage with Clarence Robertson, Jr. until his passing in 2018.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Glenna Hollenbeck; husband, Clarence Robertson, Jr.; and daughter, Sherry South.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, James South, and her brothers, Mike and Roger Hollenbeck.

Shirley will be laid to rest in Brandon Memorial Gardens in a private service surrounded by her loving family.
